Six Day Mallorca Tickets Now On Sale
01 December 2017
Tickets for the Six Day Final in Mallorca are on sale now! The island’s capital of Palma will once again play host to the series curtain closer in a one day final on 14 April.
A holiday hotspot for Brits, Germans and Spanish alike, come next April visitors to the Spanish island will be swapping sun, sea and sangria for bikes, beats and beers.
The final countdown
Australian’s Cameron Meyer and Callum Scotson currently lead the series after claiming victory last month at Six Day London. With Six Day Berlin taking place between 25-30 January and Six Day Copenhagen between 1-6 February, the series standings could look very different come the final next April.
Last season’s final saw Spanish duo Albert Torres and Sebastian More Vedro come agonisingly close to a historic victory but were eventually beaten in the 60-minute Madison chase by Belgium’s Kenny de Ketele and Moreno de Pauw. Expect more of the same drama in 2018 as the best track riders once again battle it out for the Six Day crown.
Mallorca – a fan and rider favourite
The beaches, weather and infamous nightlife are just a few of the reasons why tourists flock to Mallorca year on year but the island attracts riders for very different reasons. Stunning scenery, challenging climbs as well as flat roads make it an ideal training destination for riders with many basing themselves on the island. Don’t expect just the Spanish riders to feel like the final is their home fixture.
